Course Duration: Approx 20 mins

This Unconscious Bias Online training has been developed to challenge and reduce prejudgements in the workplace. This CPD certified online course is suitable for anyone who wants to understand unconscious bias, how it can impact decisions made and the negative impact it can have on workplace culture.

How a person thinks can depend on their background, life experiences, society and culture and stereotypes.

Unconscious means it happens without thinking. We can have beliefs, views or opinions about other people that might not be right or reasonable. These thoughts can affect our decisions in day to day life which as a result can influence our decision process, from hiring decisions or who to promote. This can create barriers and promote an unfair, less diverse culture in the workplace.

This CPD certified online training course has been created to challenge bias in the workplace, by providing the knowledge and skills needed to recognise your own pre-judgements and learn how to manage them. The course teaches the moral, business and legal case for tackling the types of bias that can affect your business. This includes gender bias, confirmation and implicit bias and any other that can disrupt the recruitment process.
